2 Months

Ann Phelps was two months old on Good Friday. I can't believe how fast she is growing!! We went for her two month check-up yesterday: she weighs 11lbs.,8oz.! The doctor said she gets an A+ for health - what a blessing!!!

It was too hard to get a great picture of all three!! Ben didn't want to sit still and Will couldn't multi-task (smile and hold Ann Phelps up). I guess we will have the memories :)!

Here are some random pictures from the past weekend. The kids and I spent the weekend in the Delta while Rhyne was at a NASCAR race. Ann Phelps is growing fast - she is 6 weeks now. Ben and Will are being typical boys - into everything!! Enjoy!

One Month

I cannot believe that Ann Phelps is already a month old! As Will says, "all she does is sleep all day!" We are having better nights - she actually sleeps and only wakes up one time! Adding a third child to the family has been more of a challenge than I expected. I keep telling myself that as soon as I can get in a routine, things will be better! It has been hard for me to actually be a "stay-at-home" mom - I am used to going somewhere everyday with my boys in-tow, but I haven't been able to do that with them and a newborn (yet)! I keep leaning on God's promise that He won't give me anything I can't handle. I know it doesn't sound like it, but I feel extremely blessed. If you told me five years ago that this would be my life I probably would have thought you were crazy!! As crazy as it sounds, this is exactly what I want! Enjoy the pictures - I don't know why her hair looks so light, it actually is dark in "real-life"?!

The Middle Child

I made a vow when I found out I was pregnant with Ann Phelps that Ben would not be the typical middle child. I have tried so hard to make sure he doesn't feel pushed aside. When I was in the hospital after AP was born, he would cry and try to run from the room. He didn't want me. Things have gotten better since we have been home. I have taken him on some "mommy and Ben" trips to Wal-Mart and the grocery store. He is still adjusting to not being the baby anymore, but he still has his moments. He went for his 18month check-up yesterday: he weighs 33lbs.!!! In the picture, you can tell he has a hard time understanding what is his and what is Ann Phelps'!

Ann Phelps made her debut Tuesday, February 10 at 7:47am. She weighed 8lbs.,10oz.! God is so good!! I will post more info later, enjoy the pics for now :)!!
