Natural Science Museum

Because of the extremely hot weather, we have had to find other things to do INSIDE! Today we went to the Natural Science Museum. It was fun to see Ben get excited about the fish and turtles. Will had fun coming home and calling his grandparents to tell them about the two-headed snake and cottonmouth he saw!!

Baby Vaiden

A couple of posts ago I talked about my friend Christina and her expecting a baby boy, well, baby Vaiden was born June 10 (as scheduled and on my wedding anniversary)! I was the photographer :). We have already planned most of Ann Phelps' and Vaiden's wedding :)!!

Girls' Weekend in Alabama

This past weekend I went on a girls' trip with my college friends to visit our friend, Laura Beth. We had the best time. Laura Beth and her husband, Harris, were the best hostesses! Now that I have kids, I treasure my time more with friends because it is harder to get-together these days!

4 Months

Today Ann Phelps is 4 months old. I cannot believe how fast the months are going by! I guess I don't have time to sit and watch her grow like I did with Will and Ben - it sounds sad doesn't it?? We go to the doctor Monday for a her check-up, I will post stats then! One milestone she has reached is rolling over! Stats: 15lbs. 25inches

9 Years

Today Rhyne and I celebrate 9 years of marriage. We have actually been a couple for 16 years!!!! I love you, Rhyne!

Quotes to Remember

Over the past month Will has said some really funny things. I am a little behind on my scrap booking (like, I haven't begun), so I want to remember these words he has said - maybe I will turn this blog into a scrapbook?? Here are a few I can remember:

"Can we go to Heaven and visit God after Mom's Morning Out tomorrow?"

"Did you know the exhaust from the car hurts the air?"

"You messed up the hydraulic system on my front-end loader!"

"Mom, who is going to take care of these kids when we go to Wal-Mart?" (meaning, Ben and Ann Phelps)

"Are you and Daddy having coffee talk?" (he got the phrase "coffee talk" from my friend Mandy)

"I am not going to Heaven, I am staying with my Mom forever!" (he yelled this out at his school chapel service when the preacher said raise your hand if you want to live with Jesus in Heaven!)

When I ask Will what he wants for lunch: "I want a turkey sandwich, Cheetos, a juice box, a WET paper towel and keep the dogs away (Buster and Duke, our "clean-up" crew)!"

"I don't want to play baseball or football like Daddy wants me to, I just want to be Bob the Builder!"

"Who is my precious girl?" (he says this to Ann Phelps everyday!)

"Mom, Ann Phelps can't wear that, it isn't PINK!" (he says this to me whenever I put any color besides pink on Ann Phelps)

My favorite so far: "Mom, I love you as deep as the ocean and as big as a construction crane!"

The Best Popsicles!

I don't know if anyone has popsicle problems, but for those of you who do, I have found the best popsicles for little ones. The popsicle brand mighty minis are the BEST popsicles for kids. It has just enough popsicle for them to eat and it doesn't melt fast. I always dreaded buying popsicles because Will would waste them. But he eats these up!! There - that is my commercial for popsicles!! Enjoy!
