The Bride and Groom

It only took 5 months to plan, but it was full of details! Marcie (my sister) got married to Craig Rozier last night. It was such a fun, sweet, special, happy, loving, etc.... wedding! Of course, all three of my kids had a part in the wedding. The boys walked my mom down the aisle and AP was the "flower girl" - she refused to carry her flowers!! Everything went so smoothly (except for AP having a minor fall on the church steps and marking her head!)- thanks to Grandmother for getting the kids to and from each place! I am so happy for the sweet couple - I felt like a proud "mom" watching everything this weekend!

Some details:
The bridesmaid luncheon was at the Viking cooking school - so much fun!
The rehearsal dinner was at the Alluvian
The wedding ceremony was at First Presbyterian in Greenwood
The reception was at the Greenwood Country Club
The honeymoon is in Vancouver Island (off the coast of British Columbia, Canada)

One of my many favorite memories from this weekend: Getting to feel like silly girls with my sister the night before her wedding - we stayed up laughing and talking until midnight!

I don't know what I will do with my weekends now! My poor kids are happy because they finally have their Mom back to themselves!!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Rozier!!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Will's class at school went to the pumpkin patch yesterday. We did a hayride, toured the Ag Museum and picked some pumpkins! When we got home, we took the easy way out and made a Mr. Potato Head Vampire pumpkin!

Doughnuts with Dad

Getting in the truck with Daddy (along with
his gluten-free doughnuts!)

Every week Will's class has been learning a new letter of the Alphabet. This week the letter is "Dd". Today, they had Doughnuts with Dad to celebrate the letter "D"! I met Rhyne at the gas station, so I didn't get great pics, but these will do! Will was so excited to ride to school with his Daddy! He also couldn't wait for his class friends to meet his Daddy- he woke up this morning in a rush because he wanted to have enough time to show his Daddy off!! How sweet!! I can't wait to hear how it went!!

Hair Help

I have posted before that Ann Phelps has wild hair. I guess other people notice it too! The sweet nursery workers (they see her every Sunday and Wednesday) even think about AP's hair when they aren't around her!! When I dropped her off the other day, one sweet nursery worker told me she thought of AP the other day while she was out shopping. She said she bought something for AP's wild hair. If you look in the picture, you will see a Hallmark gift bow on top of AP's head!! The sweet nursery worker saw it and thought it would work so well with AP's hair!!

The Spoiler

sleeping on the floor and loving it!

Lately, Grandmother (Rhyne's Mom) has been staying at our house a couple of nights each week to help out since we have still not found a babysitter in Brandon! I think she is secretly calling people telling them not to babysit so she can keep the job permanently! She does the best job of spoiling my kids (and me)! When Grandmother is here, anything goes. The kids get to sleep on pallets on the floor, have a home-cooked breakfast every morning, get to drink sweet tea, and the list goes on and on! I feel so blessed that my kids (and me) are so loved by her!!! It is so nice to have help when you have three kids under age 5! Thanks, Grandmother- for everything!
