My boys getting ready to leave

So excited about going to the deer camp!

I love this time of year. Fall has always been my favorite season. One of the signs that Fall is coming is the beginning of school. Another sign is my husband preparing for hunting season! This weekend was "work weekend" at the deer camp. The boys loaded up and left Friday afternoon, leaving Ann Phelps and me with two days of freedom!! Ann Phelps had so much fun just playing by herself. She laughed a lot! I always treasure the times I get to spend one-on-one with my kids because it gives me a chance to enjoy their personalities! Ben and Will came home so tired, but full of stories to tell me! I know they had a blast!

1st Day 2010

My big boys
(Ben is saying "school")

K4

K2

Ben started K2 and Will started K4 today! I think this is the first time my boys have started "school" with no hesitation. In fact, Ben started crying in carpool because he thought the teacher wasn't going to get him out!! Both boys got in the car after school so excited to tell me about their first day! One funny thing: I had only been gone from dropping the boys off for maybe 30 mins. and my phone rings- the principal is calling OH NO! Thankfully, she was calling to inquire about some paint they were using in Will's classroom- Will started freaking out because he thought the paint had gluten in it!! Gotta love him!! Ann Phelps and I decided to make a Target run after we got rid of the boys. I can already tell she is going to LOVE being an only child for a few hours every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (Ben will be with us on Tuesdays and Thursdays)!! Everyone says it, but these kids are growing up too fast!!!

18 Months

Miss Sassy turned 18 months on August 10. She got an A+ at her her check-up. She keeps us laughing all the time. It amazes me how she is the 3rd child, but she is the one in charge! Poor Ben, she "beats up" on him daily. Will calls her "sassy" all the time- the name is perfect! I have been enjoying having a little girl so much (I really never thought I would say that)! The Lord has been so good to my family!!

We have come to the end of another summer. I have to admit, I am ready for the boys to be back in school. They are tired of being around each other 24/7!! I also work better when everyone is on a schedule!! Don't get me wrong, we have had a great summer, but it is time!! Before summer ended, Mom and I took the kids to Memphis to the Children's Museum- we also added a stop to Whole Foods for gluten-free food (I really wish we had a Whole Foods in Jackson)! The museum was perfect for my kids who love doing hands-on activities!! We are already in the wedding season for Marcie (October 30)! Fall has always been my favorite season- so "good-bye summer"!!!
