Things Remembered

Things to document:


*Will is obsessed with community helpers (doctors, vets, firemen, policemen, etc..). He asked me if pirates are community helpers! I said no and he asked, "is it because they don't live on dry land?"!!


*Will and I had a long talk about honesty/telling the truth. He was "honest" about spilling Ben's chips and I praised him for being honest. Now he tells me, "Mom, I have to be honest, I did ___" This is good, but now he has learned that this honesty stuff can get you out of a spanking/time out, so he uses it all the time!!




*Ben picks objects to carry around for hours. Sometimes it is a plastic bowl, plastic spoon, dump truck, sticker, BIBLE, etc.. He carries the object around and will NOT put it down - this goes on for hours and he even sleeps with the object!!



*Ben had to sit in time out at Moms' Morning Out for pushing his classmates. This is the first time any of my kids have gotten in trouble at "school". Poor Ben, he doesn't know his own strength - his push could really hurt someone his age!


*Ann Phelps can't talk yet, but has learned how to get her point across. She yells!! Whenever she wants attention from her brothers she yells at them. It is cute for about the first hour, then I need Advil!!


*Will asked me if God can hear men talking when they are on ladders?!



*Will does NOT have the flu. He doesn't quite understand germs....he thinks if he feels better then he doesn't have germs - despite the fact his nose is snotty and he is coughing! He can't keep his hands off Ann Phelps!




*When I am taking Ben to MMO and he doesn't want to go he says "no play". He says this because I always say "don't you want to go play?". Now he says "no pizza and green beans". He says this because I say "don't you want to eat pizza and green beans for lunch?"!!!



*Ben has learned his colors, somewhat. For the color orange his always says "orange juice"!!


*Will wanted me to read him a book before bed. It was already late so I told him I would read him a short book - he looked at me and said, "No, I want you to read me a tall book!"
