Father's Day 2013

Happy Father's Day to all the great fathers in our family!  Like Mother's Day, I will always say a prayer for the sweet men who are loving their wives as they go through infertility. Men always want to fix things, the road of infertility is very hard for both husband and wife. I'm thankful for my Dad, Father-in-Law, and Husband......great men!

Hippies?

Carrie and I went to Starkville on Saturday to learn about healthy eating and healing our "gut" with natural eating.  I have done a lot of reading about going natural with clean eating and I am trying to make lots of changes. It was a great group meeting and the teacher was so knowledgeable.  Of course our husbands claim we are turning into hippies. That's fine as long as my children are eating the best foods possible!!

a watermelon seed spitting contest.  I think 

it was a huge success!! Fun! Fun!

Splash Park Birthday Fun

We celebrated Vaiden's birthday at the Splash Park.

Now that school is out, we have to find ways to help the kids expend their pent up energy. We went to the walking park then to the playground park.  Hopefully they will sleep late in the morning!!!

Happy 38th, Dee Dee and Pap!

Ann Phelps and Ben made anniversary cards for Dee Dee and Pap.  My parents have been married for 38 years - not normal by the standards of today. 

Say what.....????

My kids can be weird at times.  They each have their own bed, but sleep in a full bed together every night. The newest thing that makes you say "what?"..... they have been fighting each night over who gets to sleep on top of Caesar's dog bed.  They take turns laying on top of the dog bed in the bed they share.  I can't explain it, I just laugh at it!!

Mary Claire (Rhyne's sister) has been with us for the last 7 months helping with carpool and childcare.  I am so blessed to have her here helping out so much!

Little Rock

Caesar and I took a road trip to Little Rock, AR to visit my dear friend, Deb. She spends weeks at the cancer center there receiving treatments.  She looks so good, you would never know she is battling serious cancer.
