One Down

My sister friend, Christina (I call her that because she is closer to me than just a friend), set out to accomplish a goal last January.  Her goal was to first run a 5k - she did that by March of 2012.  Her next goal was a half marathon.  So on February 24, 2013 she accomplished her goal and ran her first 13.1!!!! She chose the Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon in New Orleans.  Her groupies tagged along to make it a fun girls' weekend. Christy, Amy, and me had fun cheering for our bestie and witnessing her victory of conquering 13.1!!  We made t-shirts  and signs to show Christina how proud we are of her!! She really is my hero because she set out to lose weight and get in shape and now she is a runner!! Her groupies are already planning her next 13.1 - at a fun location of course!

Ann Phelps is named after my grandmother (my Mom's mom) - Phelps was her maiden name.  My grandmother never had her ears pierced so she wore clip on earrings. My Mom let AP look through the collection of earrings to pick out the ones she liked. Of course, she loved it! I love this picture of her with the earrings on!

Family Celebrations

She's 4

Ann Phelps turned 4 this year.  She really acts like she's 14 though.  We are very blessed to have this spunky fashionista in our lives!  We decided to have a Princess PJ Party at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.  Of course only girls were invited. But she did allow her brothers to come!
