The Diaper Cake

My dear friend, Christina, is due June 10 with another little boy. I am helping host a shower for her this weekend and decided to make her a diaper cake. And yes, the cake is made out of REAL diapers, you can't eat this cake. (remember -I can't cook!!) This really confused my children!

"Can we fix it, yes we can...."

For those of you who don't have little boys, the title comes from the theme song for Bob the Builder. Bob came to Jackson for one night only last night. Rhyne's Mom and Grandmother came with us to see Bob! Will and Ben had such a good time. Ben surprised us - he sat still and watch the whole show!! (I don't have many good pictures of Will because he was too excited to be still for a pic!)

Class Program

Will's class had a Mother Goose program last Friday. They had to dress in their Sunday best and sing nursery rhymes. It shocked me that Will actually had stage fright, meaning he sat in one position and the only thing that moved the whole time was his mouth!! He is usually such a ham!

"What would you like to do on a sunny day, Mom?"

Will asks me this question everyday - even if it is cloudy outside! I don't know where he picked the phrase up, but it never fails to make me smile! On a sunny day last Thursday, we went to the park! Enjoy!

Easter

We had a very busy Easter week. We spent the whole week in the Delta. Rhyne's great-grandmother passed away and the funeral was last Wednesday in Greenwood. It didn't make sense to load up everyone and go to the funeral then come home then come back for Easter so we stayed the whole week. It will take us a few days to undo the spoiling the kids got from both sets of grandparents!! I was sad that Will had to miss his school Easter egg hunt, but his grandmothers made up for it!! 2 Months

Ann Phelps was two months old on Good Friday. I can't believe how fast she is growing!! We went for her two month check-up yesterday: she weighs 11lbs.,8oz.! The doctor said she gets an A+ for health - what a blessing!!!

Pre-Easter Pics

It was too hard to get a great picture of all three!! Ben didn't want to sit still and Will couldn't multi-task (smile and hold Ann Phelps up). I guess we will have the memories :)!
