Mandy and Michael had dinner with us on Wednesday - the day before Will's birthday. Mandy told Will she had a present for him. He told her he already knew what the present was because I told him- I didn't tell him, but he knew Mandy would think I did. When he told her what the present was, he was right and Mandy said, "Beth, why did you tell him what his present was?". Well of course when she said that she let Will know he was right and the surprise was spoiled! Today when Will received all of his birthday phone calls from our family, he told them how he tricked Mandy - he was very proud of himself. Well, Michael had the idea to get Will back by wrapping up a cinderella Barbie doll for him to open at his party. The pictures say it all - Will was very embarrassed and shocked when the present wasn't the Lego Hero he had guessed!! In the end Mandy gave him his true present - the Lego Hero he had guessed the night before!! We are so thankful for Aunt Mandy (and Michael) - they keep things fun!!
