Party Time

We celebrated Will's birthday parties at the end of July.  He swam at the Y, played at DeeDee and Pap's and spent the night in a hotel in Brandon with Grandmother and Pop. We also celebrated Uncle James' birthday the weekend of the hotel party.

Decided to give Rhyne the serenade a little earlier than 9/10

8 years and going

I know every parents says they can't believe how fast their 

kid is growing up, but it is true with Will (ha ha)! He turned 8

today. I never imagined this day would be so normal to a Mom 

who gave birth to triplet boys at 27 weeks, was in danger of losing her

own life, had one sweet boy survive, he only stayed in the NICU for 

10 weeks, he came home and is now a HEALTHY 8 year old!!!! 

Wow!! God is so good all the time! I could never imagine "normal" 

would follow Will and I after that day 8 years ago!! What a blessing

it is to CELEBRATE this day!! 

He is becoming such a young boy instead of little boy. It is happy and

sad....Will and I have a special bond - survivor bond- that will always

be there, but I'm not ready for him to be so independent!! But

then I stop on days like today, and can be so thankful he is 

independent and healthy!!!

Having Fun at the YMCA

The Hooks family joined the YMCA Monday. 

The kids have enjoyed swimming every night. This mom

loves it because they are zombies when we get home and are

begging for bed time!!!

Family Movie Day

The Jackson and Hooks families joined forces to take 

the kids to see Despicable Me 2.  Of course, I had to make it 

more exciting by dressing all the kids in character outfits (Christiana

was begging me to get her one, but I said she couldn't pull it off). 

We had so much fun!!

at lunch....Charlie didn't join us for lunch so it was
Rhyne, two moms, and 5 kids!!

Celebrating EE

Since Christina and I have declared we are sisters, 

that means our families come with the family package!

Because Rhyne is such a wonderful cook, EE ( Christina's mom) requested

that he cook her birthday meal.
